LaSharra Ray
CMA, LPN, Clinical Assistant
LaSharra was born and raised right here in Asheville. Her father is the reason she found her way into healthcare, and along the way she has built a wide-ranging skill set to match her curiosity — earning her CNA, CMA, and LPN through Blue Ridge Community College, along with several additional certifications and a cosmetology license.
What drives her is helping people reach their best quality of life, and she takes a whole-health view of what that means: nutrition, fitness, and mental health all working together alongside clinical care. She’s drawn to the transparency of the direct primary care model — around access, cost, and true whole-person wellness — and to a team that shares that passion. Her professional interests include hematology and oncology, sparked by a fascination with how the body’s most fundamental systems work and what happens when they don’t.
Outside of work, LaSharra’s favorite place to be is with her three children. She also enjoys working out, cooking, and food of just about every kind. She is a devoted sneakerhead with a collection well over 200 pairs.
